Hazmat Disaster Preparedness Training Program

The NIEHS HDPT Program supports the safety and health training of current hazardous materials workers and chemical responders, trains skilled response personnel, creates materials and delivers training directly to first responders. This program is meant to augment prevention and preparedness efforts in a wide variety of high risk settings.

Training developed and administered under this program area includes topics such as:

• Emergency Response for Specific Hazards
• First Aid and Adult CPR
• Emergency Responder Basic Operations
